Shaheedi Bunga is committed to the welfare of every child and young person who attends our classes. We expect all volunteers to share that commitment.

To confirm: whether volunteers working with children hold an enhanced DBS check, and what checks are made before someone teaches.

Raising a concern

To confirm: how a parent, student or volunteer raises a concern, who it goes to, and what happens next.

In an emergency, or if a child is at immediate risk, contact the police on 999. Leicester City Council children's social care can also be contacted directly.

Photographs and video

We only publish photographs of children where consent has been given by a parent or guardian. If you would like a photograph removed from this website or our social media, contact us and we will take it down.
